Hello dear reader and thank you for your interest in Courage Passion Wisdom and Grace. I apologize that this revision is no longer in print. I didn't mean to leave you hangin' but I felt the story and, honestly, the author needed a refresh. By the time I finished refreshing I had a whole new book!
I was so happy with it I decided to lose the pen name Jon Von Knight and sign my real name - J.E. Van Loke.
There's still some work to be done before the new book is available but I would be honored if you found your way to my new website or Facebook page and stay tuned for the reintroduction of this incredible story under the title ~
Courageous Wisdom The True Story of a Way Shower
Courage Passion Wisdom and Grace Jon Von Knight 9780991101306 Books
The plot of this book was interesting, and the characters were fairly well developed. This was a relatively quick read, though the journal sections were confusing and a little too out there for me.The book deals with Sharon's life and journey to spirituality. I am not clear if this is really a true story or if it's a fiction book set up to look real. If it's fiction, it seems like there is an awful lot of background and building up to something that is never really delivered. If it's fiction, I'm not sure if this is the first book in a series or not. If it is, it might be good to mention that at the end of this book. If it's not, then I would've like to see more of a definite conclusion. If it truly is non-fiction, then it might be good to have some sort of conclusion or something to make the reader feel like the book is done.
Another thing that bothered me was the inconsistent tense. This happened throughout the book, enough that I noticed repeatedly.
The story really was interesting, but the book would definitely benefit from an editor's touch.

Courage Passion Wisdom and Grace Jon Von Knight 9780991101306 Books Reviews
Courage Passion Wisdom and Grace tells the story of Sharon and her transformation into an "Angel". Most of the book had a dream-like feel to it with little firm structure. This is written as a true story but parts had me questioning that - it was a little out there at times.
The main character of the book is Sharon and the story is told by her good friend Jon. Sharon is the ultimate empathetic woman who is always willing to give more than she receives. While reading, I kept thinking about the title and how much she embodied those four words. I also found myself thinking of ways I could become a better person by working on those traits.
I gave this book 4 stars because it did make me think quite a bit about the message of "LOVE YOURSELF!", even though I didn't fully believe a lot of the plot points. There were quite a few structural issues that knocked a star off for me. I hope there will be a sequel to this book because the ending does not bring much closure. I was left wanting to hear just a little more of Sharon's story.
Courage, Passion, Wisdom and Grace, ISBN 9780991101306, Winged Knights Publishing is a purportedly true story in e-book form written by the person’s friend Jon von Knight.
The dialogue opens with “The book you hold in your hands is the incredible story of my life. It is the story of a wayshower and a healer and it begins long before I knew what it means to be either of those things.” These provoking words are followed with an introduction to Sharon as she struggles with attempting to ‘hold together’ her family headed by an accomplished, hard-working, but alcoholic, journeyman father and brother addicted to drugs as well as alcohol, while carrying a full load of college courses and working two part-time jobs. As time progresses, she also must deal with a marriage that gradually is failing because she begins to change while her husband cannot, as well as being overburdened with work where she is one of the few employees with an old-fashioned work ethic. The story continues to develop as Sharon reacquaints with professional psychic Faith and former boyfriend Jack, meets Sara and envisions changes that lead to strong mystical/spiritual development. Jack has told her of the Hindu and Hopi Indian prediction that by 2012 the world would leave its fear-based ways and enter one based on love – a “60’s Age of Aquarius” type phenomenon, and it becomes apparent. She progresses in her mystical development and experiences growth that allows her to ‘pass over’ into a world where she develops angel like qualities and fights the demons of the world while becoming an individual who can provide extensive ‘uplifting for the depressed’ in today’s world.
Discussion This is a most unusual tale set forth by an author displaying the ultimate in empathetic behavior. As described in Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, empathy is “the capacity for understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts and experience of another of either the past or present without having (them) fully communicated in an objectively explicit manner.” The story provides a most fascinating journey by an ‘earth angel’ to fight soul by soul to bring light into each of today dweller’s daily life by helping them to eliminate the myriad depressing influences inundating them. It is a most uplifting story, but regrettably one that suffers from structural problems for the more pragmatic reader. Specifically, a ‘time line’ is difficult to find; i.e. Sharon seems to ‘float’ through her existence; her movements from time to time just ‘happen’ (e.g. she is a college student and suddenly she is in a career position); her acquaintances similarly just ‘occur’; one often is not sure whether dreams or realities are present. Possibly there is no way of providing this material other than in this ‘semi-dream-like’ state and perhaps
this even adds greatly to the charm of the book for many. And, it is a most uplifting and intriguing story from which all readers certainly may benefit. However and probably most regrettably, the more pragmatically inclined individual will find a certain amount of disappointment with the presentation - a strong inclination to believe but a desire to be able to find a ‘firmer foothold’. I thoroughly believe that attention to this matter by a sympathetic editor could rectify this defect thus permitting the pragmatist to reach a greater level of enjoyment.
